At Full-Circle Holistics we provide Chiropractic care through a different lens.
Placing an emphasis on the muscular system, we specialize in trigger point therapy. This therapy concentrates on the muscular systems’ affects on our skeletal system and structure. We work to break the body from its pathological patterns by applying a very specific pressure to the areas of sensitivity within our muscles. This interruption of signal returns our muscle to an optimal state of functioning, reducing inflammation and relieving pain.
We do this by performing a very detailed history and set of exams that uncovers where you’re experiencing pain and what, in your past, may have led to this. After this a full-body treatment will be performed, identifying your major trigger points, latent trigger points and postural discrepancies. Once these points are recognized a very precise amount of pressure is applied that, in essence, breaks a positive feedback loop feeding into the trigger point itself.
We have found that combining trigger point therapy, the traditional chiropractic adjustment and a proper postural evaluation along with exercises and lifestyle interventions are the best way to increase your quality of life, promote healing and prevent pain in the future.
About the Doctor
Dr. Owen is happy to call the Wyoming Valley his home. A 2004 graduate of Wyoming Area, Dr. Owen received his undergraduate degree from King’s College with a bachelor’s of science in the study of exercise science in 2018.
Dr. Owen then went on to the Northeast College of Health Sciences formerly, New York Chiropractic College, to attain a Doctorate in Chiropractic in 2021. During his time at Northeast he earned advanced certificates in NIMMO and activator techniques, Whole Foods Nutrition through Standard Process and was inducted into the Phi Chi Omega Honors Society.
Dr. Owen is also a certified Human Foundations Specialist with Functional Patterns, specializing in training of posture, gait and economics of movement.
